Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for this e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This manga of Anne of Green Gables tells the story of Anne Shirley, an orphan girl that is adopted by the Cuthbert siblings, Marilla and Matthew. Anne is an efferverscent, vivacious redhead girl with a strong, dynamic imagination. I do find this character one of the most human characters I've ever read.

This book has beautiful and sophisticated illustrations that capture the very essence of all the characters and their own stories: Anne, Marilla, Matthew, Gilbert, Diana,... Both heart and feelings, emotions, are captured so well in this book.

In this book, we get to know Anne Shirley, also called Anne of Green Gables. We get to know her story, her feelings and emotions, her fears and dreams, her aspirations and how she came to Avonlea, how she was treated before, how her life was before. At first, the Cuthberts don't want her because she is a girl, and they wanted a boy. But they quickly like and love Anne and accept her in their house. She has a never-ending imagination. She is a fiery, determined girl that fights for the people she loves, for the ones that need help, and for the ambitions that lie in her heart and soul.

I do highly recommend you this book! It is a must-read book about freedom, love, family, friendship,...

I hope you're having a great week! Until next post! ♡
